Atera

Atera is Germany's premier manufacturer of car rack systems; most of their business is in making ‘own branded’ roof bars and bike carriers for German car manufacturers.

Their Atera branded products are also top notch quality and design, ‘Made in Germany’; in our sector their tow bar carriers (the STRADA and Genio Pro series) are considered to be the best in the premium sector. Their ‘aero-profile’ aluminium roof bars are unique in that they don’t need any rubber infill to achieve their low drag, low noise results; this makes them particularly easy to use, but they also look extremely smart.

Atera, based in Bavaria, is part of Germany’s BOS Group, supplier of, for example, automotive luggage covers and internal trim panels to car manufacturers worldwide, employing approximately 8,000 people.
